The King Fahd causeway: The most spectacular bridge I've ever seen in my whole life the 16 mile (26 km) King Fahd Causeway connects Khobar to the island of Bahrain, this is four lane highway and 25 meters wide the building works, costing US$ 1.2 billion, financed entirely by the Kingdom of Saudi.
In the middle of the bridge is an island that is used as the customs inspections point for Saudi Arabia. The causeway consists of two parts, a long bridge from Khobar to Ummal-Na'sanIsland in Bahrain, and a shorter one from Ummal-Na'sanIsland to the main island of Bahrain.
Don't miss to go to the top of the tower where you can enjoy the nice view and have some coffee, tea or meals either.
SunsetBeach: Sunset beach is an exclusive residence and resort community. Inside there is a big water park, a bowling alley, arcade, pool hall and dining facilities. The water park is fun with numous slides, a lazy river, paddle boats and a nice beach by the lagoon. There is an entrance fee and it is only for families.

Wharf/pier/boardwalk: This picturesque boardwalk provides a lovely tiled walking surface as well as a jogging path Great meeting place for locals with kiddie's attractions and proper grass. A great walk and jog track alongside the Arabian Gulf easy access to it and at least ten family restaurants.
Surfing and Diving: Surfing on the sea in Al Khobar is an attraction everyone will always remember. Diving is another attraction for water lovers, the tourist must relax them but in a careful manner.
Pedals: Pedals is a pedal driven watercraft, another famous sea sports activities in the resort, it cost 45 riyals in just 20 minutes expensive but it's great and fun. It carries 2 or more people it depends the sizes easy to use and also great for exercise.

Motorcycle on the desert: One of the most famous activities in the desert is the quad biking and it should be found anywhere outskirt the city, my kids tried it for the first time they chose the 4 wheel drive it was very thrilling and fun.

Camel Back Ride: One of the most special things that my kids enjoyed well in our first visit in al-khobar is riding a 10 feet camel with a colourful accessories, it was a great experience! one of my kids dream is to see or touch a camel but glad they enjoyed more than they expected, and funny because even if they were bit scared they did just to enjoy themselves.
